TAKE WHAT YOU WANT,
steal my pride, i'm still the same.
steal my pride, i'm still the same.
personality;; feminist. outspoken. patience of a saint. cunningly destructive. motherly. dreamer.
a dick doesn't make you superior - if there's one thing zephyr believes in, it's certainly equality between genders. she has thankfully been able to remain willingly oblivious to the differences within a man & a woman, so naturally, i'm hoping you understand why she thinks very strongly on the category of feminism. she takes much pride in her independence - in more than one way as well, mind you - and she personally prefers to prove she's capable of doing things completely on her own. she has never taken the ignorance of a sexist individual lightly, and you should know that she has no issue with vocalizing her frustration on the matter. you won't have to ever worry about being too rough or reckless around the girl, because if your cards play accordingly, she'll be just as rough back. zephyr has enough bite to hold her own on most days.
giving your thoughts a voice - being outspoken doesn't make you a hard-headed bitch; it makes you brave enough to be exactly who you are. zephyr is someone who encourages others to voice their personal beliefs or feelings on anything & everything. why? because it matters to her and she has a very good theory about it being relevant to the listeners around the person. often she'll be mistaken for some foolishly young child not having a clue about what she's talking about, but she truly doesn't wish to be a bother. it all really just boils down to her inability to keep herself from arguing on a point if it doesn't make any sense to her. a possible plus to this trait, is that she remains opened minded to learning different view points on specific things & if she is wrong, she'll accept it and move on.
with patience comes the wisdom of the things you'd miss without it - not too long ago, zephy was like a time-bomb set to explode. little things could set the girl off, she'd fly off the handle at complete random...and seriously? it wasn't a likable part of who she was at all. nevertheless, i don't want you to think that she won't smack somebody back into place when that's exactly what the need. but after a long visit with her father and absorbing the peaceful way of his side of the family, her tolerance level thankfully increased tremendously. zephy's way of showing her personal distaste for something or someone is through sarcasm. you know, those really smug and obnoxiously calm people who settle things with clever remarks? hopefully, you're getting the picture.
coated in mischief while refusing a cage;; many things come to mind when recalling the definition of cunning. the slick and slippery slyness one possesses when this trait fits accordingly with their name, how truly devious their inner thoughts can be, and the whole basis of the six letter word itself makes up quite a bit of zephy's personality. she's talented at the art of keeping secrets (whether they're hers to tell or not) and she often gives off this mysterious vibe that leads most to believe she's up to something. she's good at calculating situations that enable her to pull things off others wouldn't even attempt to try doing, which truly, makes her all that more untrustworthy. what is zephyr up to? but more importantly, will it involve good or bad?
let's say you're in a bit of trouble with your relationship. you desperately want to break things off with your current sweetheart, but in all honesty, you have no reason whatsoever to call things off for good. you're stressed, you wish to be a freebird once again...well, worry no longer; zephyr is the person to request for assistance in this category. she's someone who can very easily conjure what seems to appear like a flawless plan out of thin air and make that chance for you to escape much more possible. her plans of devious destruction don't always work, mind you, but they do help more often than not.
zephy is someone who knows what she's doing and when sinking too deep in situations far over her head, she won't stop until she finds a successful way out. intelligence goes hand in hand with this trait, for the mental capacity of comprehending the consequences you're trying to trickily avoid requires to be a bit higher than your average little hellion. portrayals aside, she's certainly a lot more complex than you'd believe her to be; a well thought out demolisher in disguise as a practical nineteen year old.
hush darling, you're safe in these arms now;; - growing up, zephy actually contributed a lot to raising her younger brother; he might just not realize that. if you can get passed her destructive and sneaky nature, she's actually a rather comforting individual. she doesn't mind listening to your problems, giving advise, and being there for you if you need her. this trait also probably has a lot to do with the twins she's currently raising, but it's always been there. whether or not if she will admit it to you.
and they say dragons drip with a thing called magic;; - in zephyr's eyes, anything is possible. and when i say anything, i mean anything. it's an understatement when explaining how much her mind lingers in the clouds (and her usage of mary jane doesn't really help keep her grounded, either). she dreams where no man's dared to dream and no matter how preposterous the scenario may seem, zephy keeps an open mind to most things. she's had quite an obsession for fairytales for as long as anyone can remember, which ultimately adds to her comfort in the world of day dreams.
the extras;; tattooist. artist in general. bringer of awareness.
a little pain for something beautiful - since zephyr was literally around twelve, her fascination for body art has only grown over the years. she began training under some of her friends illegally when she was about thirteen to figure out how to function the guns used for these talents, and honestly, she'd gotten quite good at it. she plans to open up a parlor somewhere in NYC very soon as well, but you'll find out more about that later.
expressing yourself is extraordinary through art - painting, drawing, sketching...it doesn't matter what it is; Zephy has probably made a hobby out of it. she's a very creative individual and whenever she has the chance, her hands grab onto a pencil for casual doodling or a paintbrush for something more spontaneous. she personally doesn't hold any preference when it comes to what kind of artwork she creates, but she has the most fun with abstract and acrylics. she likes black and white masterpieces too, though.
we all have our beauty - have you ever seen those photographs that are usually labelled under "awareness projects"? this is something zephy takes part in quite frequently. she's always been a lover of flaws, so if she's capable of portraying how beauty lingers in all of us. literally. does that sound cheesy? yes, but it's actually really true. take it as you will.

One of the most vitally important parts about learning the background of a human being requires patience, fascination within the even the smallest of details, and focused comprehension. Before I can willingly tell you everything you'll need to know about Zephyr, you're going to have to read about the ones before her time; her ancestors. For without their choices and many years lived, her whole entire existence just may have altered into nonexistence.
Now, I want you to think back – waaaay back, to Detroit, Michigan in 1968. In case you didn't know, the United States was enduring one of the most memorable periods in the closest generations to those living in the world today. There was outrage, rebellion, chaos, ignorance, misunderstanding, and strangely enough...hope. Yes, I'm asking you to recall the time period of the Vietnam Protest Movement; where the signs read making peace & love and where a large 'no' symbol blocked out the idea of war. It was these select individuals ( the constantly expanding group of 'hippies' ) that refused to allow their voices to go unheard.
Within the massive group of hippies, two major highlights relevant to this story didn't plan on missing their chance to join into the rave against war. Although they'd only known each other for roughly a year, Rosalee and Gregory were and still are a marvelous definition of what love in its truest form entirely is. The two were inseparable, vulnerable without the other at their side, they held a strong 'spiritual connection' (as far as they're concerned) with each other down to their very souls, etc. It soon became apparent that Greg was not complete without Rose, and vise versa. And their shared beliefs on the events playing out then in their time only made their hearts swell up even more with happiness. Rosalee and Gregory were in love and expressed it as much as they possibly could. It's as simple as that.
But their love for music and peace went far beyond just what the organ in your chest can manage. On August 1st of that same year '69, the couple traveled to Max Yasgur's dairy farm for an experience no one before their time had even thought about attending. It was odd that they chose to head to upstate New York a bit before they actually needed to arrive, but if you knew what historical event I'm talking about, it'd all become instantly clear. Woodstock, billed as “An Aquarian Exposition: 3 days of Peace & Music” was promised to be held at this farm not too far from the hamlet of White Lake in the town of Bethel, New York. There were at least 500, 000 concert goers recorded down as 'attenders', you see. Now if they had any chance at staking a nice place to stay on the premises, the week and a half wait for Woodstock was absolutely necessary.
Woodstock for Rosalee and Gregory held no disguises. The whole idea was rushed, there were a lack of bathing facilities, food resources, and the list goes on. To anyone who isn't capable of looking over these major flaws in the Woodstock plans, the moment in history could easily look like an utter train wreck; which honestly, it was. But you must also keep in mind that the audience that attended wasn't mentally grounded to the conditions around them anyway. Oh no, not with all of the illegal substances granting them a ticket to planet mars. The couple participated in the drug usage populating the crowds of listeners, chose to express their love for each other while being nude together in the back of their van, and the blaring music of rock 'n roll still echoes in their memories today.
On august 18th, the festival ended and the hippies were undoubtedly satisfied. Despite their wants to remain in that three day period forever, Rosalee and Gregory found their way back home to Detroit. There was much reminiscing, but one thing the couple didn't expect was the news of pregnancy a few weeks after getting settled back in their hometown. There wasn't any exception in the eyes of their parents after being told they'd be grandparents – given that the two weren't married yet then – but it wasn't but a few months later that they did join in holy matrimony.
On May 24th, 1970, Schuyler Ariel Donovan was born in a local hospital. The man's first childhood memories were spent within the city of Detroit, but after the ending of the Vietnam war, his mother and father chose to relocate to Kenmore, New York. It was in this city that he was truly raised to be everything that he is now, while his parents took easy paying jobs to keep a roof over all three of their heads. Schuyler grew up as an only child.
If he hadn't been taught to value and appreciate the small things in life, chances are, Schuyler wouldn't have enjoyed living in the lower-middle class of society. Flashy items that proved to have a heavy price tag weren't something the man really became familiar with - and to this day, materialistic things don't matter to him at all - and Schuyler turned out perfectly fine without them complicating his life. Instead, he was a child that looked forward to family time with his parents -- especially on the summer road trips they'd save up all year for.
But keep in mind where Rosalee and Gregory began, my friends. The rebellion that kept their hope going strong over the 'Age of Aquarius', remember? A lot of their "calming methods" didn't fade away over time period of raising their only son; mainly, because they have never personally believed that the substance would really destroy their family's morals. While they kicked their more powerful drug habits aside, marijuana acted like a form of cigarettes to the Donovan couple...minus the unhealthy addiction to the plant. Schuyler was raised to understand ways of peace; there isn't anything more or less to it.
In 1987, something life changing happened to Schuyler Donovan. He finally realized his love for a seventeen year old girl living in Lockport named Ivonne Montgomery. Regardless of how much distaste was expressed toward him by the girl's parents, the two couldn't deny how happy the other made them. During their sophomore year, he'd casually met Ivonne and since that simple conversation inside their school's cafeteria, they'd been a pretty steady couple throughout the rest of their high school career.
Social class positions were one of the ways Ivonne & Schuyler differed majorly. What, with the man growing up within the lower-middle class and the woman hailing from a family that had money raining from their ceiling. It was difficult for Ivonne's family to accept the peaceful, simple ways of Schuyler Donovan and his own heritage; not to mention, the rumors of his parents "woodstock festival days" floating between Kenmore and Lockport didn't make things any easier. Honestly, there's no way to make the situation sound any better than it really is. Richard and Diana Montgomery wanted their daughter to make something with her life - not to marry some offspring of flower children! And because of how arrogant their thinking methods were and still are, they didn't even bother asking Schuyler what he planned on doing with his life. Though if they had taken the time to ask, they would've been definitely surprised with the answer.
Finally in 1988, Ivonne and Schuyler graduated high school. Her parents were expecting to pay for her the college tuition to whatever school she wished to study at, but instead of news on a promising career, Richard and Diana were absolutely blown away by their daughter's actions. The two new adults, if you'd wanna call them that, had feared the slim chance of their relationship continuing over the years of learning. If Ivonne had listened obediently to her parents, when would she ever see Schuyler again? And what if she met somebody and forgot about her bond with her high school sweetheart? There was a lot to consider, this is true...
And foolishly, they decided that marriage would be the conclusion to their dilemma.
Deciding to take a road trip to the west coast, Ivonne and Schuyler said their vows in Las Vegas shortly after the woman's eighteenth birthday. Richard and Diana were far too infuriated to willingly accept all of this, and you can bet that at least every-other-day a phone call meant for lecturing was dialed to Ivonne.
After a few weeks of aimlessly traveling around on the west coast, Schuyler vocalized his desire to settle down in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Over those many summer road trips his own mother and father dragged him along on, the place was one of his most favorite places to visit during any of the vacations. Ivonne wasn't so enthusiastic about moving to such a...place of simplicity, but after basically begging on his hands and knees for a straight week, she gave into Schuyler's wishes soon enough.
Unfortunately, their hopes of overlooking everything but the love they shared for each other failed miserably after the first year & a half of marriage. Ivonne fought with Schuyler over many things ( ex: bills, drifting apart, being so far away from New York, etc ), and over time, it became too much for the woman to tolerate. She had desperately craved to be less selfish & materialistic and more good natured & carefree, but she wasn't used to having to work for everything she wanted. Yes, it was kind of adventurous in the beginning. But when it literally came down to it all, she was really missing the silver platter her parents handed everything to her on.
On may 4th, 1992, all of their doubts about belonging together until 'death do them part' were forced to be put on hold. Zephyr Dianne Donovan was born on a cloudless afternoon at a hospital nearest to Jackson Hole, and for the most part, Ivonne & Schuyler were capable of sharing a newly found admiration for their daughter. Of course, it made money much tighter for the couple - what, considering Ivonne's parents had refused to fund her at all while being married to Schuyler - and after calculating how long they'd be able to last before becoming dirt poor, they quickly agreed to the offer Evelyn ( Schuyler's Aunt ) had to offer. Approximately a month after being born, Ivonne and Schuyler moved in with Evelyn where she helped whenever and wherever she was needed. Their daughter's birth was seemingly an early gift to Schuyler, though, because he graduated college with his bachelor's degree a few weeks afterwards.
Schuyler destined to become a park ranger for the Yellowstone National Park. Often at times, he could recall his memories of visiting the place with his parents while visiting his aunt, and with the love of nature and animals he held...didn't it all make sense? Because being a ranger is more than just studying up in forestry, Schuyler was asked to stay housed in the dormitories Yellowstone provided for anyone hoping to patrol and assist with the wildlife in the future. Ivonne didn't pretend like she was perfectly fine with being left to take care of their daughter with his aunt - to whom she personally believed was a space cadet freak - which ultimately, weakened their relationship even more.
With Ivonne's constant stress over the numbers in the bank & feeling as if she wasn't able to live out her own dreams anymore, Evelyn stood up to be the stability in Zephyr's life. The woman was obsessed with fairytales & most reading materials, as well as the insightful lifestyles of "flower children" - much like Gregory & Rosalee, so she made sure to include these teachings into the daily routine of raising Zephy. Ivonne never encouraged Evelyn with these habits, but it didn't stop the woman from going over them anyway. Zephy's aunt was a rather stubborn woman, that's for sure.
There was a steady period of three years before anything changed again for the Donovan's, but the arguing between Ivonne and Schuyler hadn't disappeared as many would've hoped. The two didn't keep the fact that their marriage was utterly on the rocks hidden from the public eye, and shockingly enough, Ivonne had finally vocalized her idea of moving back to New York and ensured they'd go their separate ways. Now, despite his aggravation with his wife, that wasn't what Schuyler necessarily wanted. No, he didn't want this at all. He was still very in love with the woman he'd fled to Vegas with & albeit he trusted her very much so, he feared of being the victim of hardly ever seeing his daughter and really only showing he still cared through child support. He wasn't going to allow that to happen, if he could help it.
Whenever he had the chance, Schuyler put a lot of effort into everything he did for his wife. There were gifts, songs, poems & romantic events; basically, the only shot he had with this was reminding her why she fell in love with him in the first place. She was a bit reluctant at first, this is true. But if someone you believed had given up turned around and did a complete 180 out of the blue, wouldn't you be hesitant, too?
On November 14th, 1995, their second child was brought into the world. Zephyr was a mere three at this time, but once again, the love and care for a new child put off their doubts for a little while. Schuyler was certain things would work themselves out now - since they had not one, but two children to think about now.
In 1996, a phone call can be thanked for ruining everything Schuyler had worked to rebuild between his wife and himself. Dating back to 1991, a secret Schuyler had honestly forgotten about revealed itself rather boldly before Ivonne and the rest of his family. It was at the major breaking point of their marriage - before their daughter blinded seeing this for a time being - that he'd sought out for the comfort and affection Ivonne was refusing to give him then. When Gregory & Rosalee drove out to visit their son, they'd brought an old friend from the man's childhood along with them. Her name was Camille, and I'm sure you can guess what happens next. There wasn't any alcohol involved and the marijuana they inhaled wasn't enough to complicate better judgment, so there really isn't any excuse for his one night stand with the girl. Naturally, Schuyler felt terribly guilty after this, but he knew Ivonne would be on a flight back home if the truth did come out. It was a terrible thing to keep from his wife, but we're all human. Making mistakes is in our DNA, right?
This phone call explained a lot of things, you see; one of the most important of them being the existence of his son only a few months older than Zephyr. You would think this issue could be summed up by a few explanations and begs for forgiveness, but the matter was much more serious than anyone would've believed it to be. His son's mother, Camille, had died while she was having a bit of fun with old friends back in Kenmore. The visit was originally supposed to be short lived ( you know, a quick night or two of reviving old memories and living in the moment ), but a little too much to drink and being convinced to go for a quick dip in the local lake surely became the very death of Camille. It was odd that Schuyler was contacted about the legal guardianship over his son, since he hadn't even met the boy, but his name inked on the father's section was enough for it to be possible. Schuyler Donovan automatically had custody over his child, Caspian, as far as the law was concerned.
Oh, and was Ivonne furious.
In 1997, the court confirmed the Donovan couple as legally divorced. Everything Schuyler feared from the beginning starting becoming his miserable reality, and before he knew it, Ivonne had custody over Zephyr and her little brother Lysander for good. It was then, you see, that Richard and Diana slyly reappeared in their daughter's life - mainly due to her desperate need of money for a great lawyer. The woman set out on a plane back to New York shortly after the court's hearing; considering her father promised his daughter the inheritance they took away previously for her choice in husband. Things were finally looking up for Ivonne, but as for Schuyler...
The seperation left him feeling empty & defeated, but he understood his ex-wife's choice on the matter.
As horrible as the truth is, it had nothing to do with what was best for her children. The plan she hastily conjured up to win over Zephyr & Lysander in court was solely an act of vengeance purposely directed at their father for his mistake with Camille. Ivonne had always been crazily jealous of the bond he'd held with the woman while they were mere sophomores dating in high school, so the fact that they shared a child ( despite her being dead already ) was enough for 'Vonne to prove just how cruel she could be. It would be easier to understand if you thought of it like a..."you got what you deserved" sort of scenerio. After all, he did decieve her. Wasn't it only fair to slaughter the perfect life he chose to keep everything in the dark for?
Probably not. But Ivonne thought so, and that's all she needed to proceed.
Ever since Ivonne was a little girl, she'd dreamed about prefoming on the legendary stage of Broadway. The musical atmosphere, the adrenaline of the spotlight, the applause during the curtain call, etc. The whole idea of it all could excite the mother of two far more than the duties of being an actual parent could, and that's just the way it was. After auditioning three times (and having to motivate herself again due to the first & second cases of rejection), Ivonne Montgomery was granted a position among the many other preformers that deemed themselves very worthy to be there.
Now, with all of that chaos aside, Zephyr's homelife wasn't really tragic at all. There wasn't any form of abuse, no negitive energy that offered a 'toxic' atmosphere...but sadly, nothing is exactly what it was. Her mother didn't go out of her way to give love & affection to her children ( you may even call the woman emotionally detached, if you would ) but in no way would it be classified as bad parenting in the eyes of child services. There were no rules, and Ivonne allowed her children to run fuckin' wild. And before you ask, no. It had nothing to do with 'having strict parents growing up' or 'letting her children express themselves how in their own ways'. It was seriously because she had more career-important things to focus on and as long as Zephyr and Lysander were alive and fed, she felt that she was doing her job correctly.
In 2002, Ivonne married Edward Kingsley; co-owner of Kingsley enterprises. The man hailed from the well-known town of London, and while on a business trip to NYC, he'd met Ivonne after she was finished with one of her shows while preforming on Broadway. As far as Zephyr's opinion was concerned - oh, and you can believe she made sure it was known - she thought he was one of the most egocentric idiots ever to walk the earth. Not once did the two get along, and it was a great call for Zephyr to head off to her actual dad's house over holidays. The occasions would have been very cheerless otherwise.
In late may of the same year '02, Edward insisted on the family relocating over to London. It was annoying for the man to travel back and fourth between the countries, especially since his actual cooperation was grounded in the city. Now if it wasn't for Ivonne's argument on her love for broadway, she would've instantly packed up and followed her husband to his homeland. But because she was attached to the dreams she'd successfully achieved, she wasn't leaving without arguing the idea as much as she possibly could.
Ah, but Edward searched until he discovered a loophole to this denied request. After revealing the existence of West End Theatre and basically promised a position in the cast, Ivonne accepted the idea and forced her children to leave NYC behind. Lysander didn't really mind the change of scenery, but Zephy felt that she needed New York air filling her lungs...not London air. On the day they were to board the airplane leading them to their new home, Edward actually had to drag Zephy out from the crawlspace she'd barricaded herself in as an act of desperation. Then in short, there was a wild goose chase between the girl and her step-father before he finally got his hands on her. Zephy knew there was no point in fighting anymore around the time she was thrown over the man's shoulder and tossed into the back seat of his black Mercedes.
Much like any teenager feeling invisible to their parents, Zephyr started spending less and less time home and more with the rebels of society; the rockers, the stoners, the partiers, etc. Her mother rarely ever noticed anything passed her own reflection in the mirror, so her absence was very unnoticed by the theatre actress. However, her step-father was not at all oblivious to her recklessness & tendencies to create catastrophe.
And boy, did they go rounds. Zephyr refused to act civilly around the man no matter what his final word was, and because she was so reluctant to obey his authority, Edward began despising Zephy. I can honestly say the feeling was undoubtedly mutual, though.
Shortly after yet another fight between Edward and Zephyr, she left home for a couple of days with a few friends going out of town for a concert. The number of teens that were present on the small trip was a pretty large number, but the main person Zephy was interested in was her boyfriend at the time, Damien. The two had dated for a good couple months solid, and in a way to 'slap Edward in the face', she willingly gave this seventeen year old her virginity as their first month anniversary. Did she regret it? No. Did that make her an easy whore? Not exactly. She was just living in the moment, after all; something her step-father detested whenever he had the chance to.
And it was at this concert, precisely in the back of Damien's car, where Zephyr's life changed drastically. At a mere fifteen years old, Zephyr had wound up pregnant. There's nothing more to say about it, because it is what it is. When talking it over with Damien himself, the stereotypical 'I'm not ready to be a dad' statement is what the girl received in response to her panicking. Isn't that beautiful? You know, if I had a nickle for every time I heard a man say those words...
If he wasn't going to be useful, Zephyr didn't want him loafing around in her life at all. So after comprehending his uncertainty about stepping up and being a father, Zephy cut him loose and agreed to raise the child on her own.
For as long as she was able to, Zephyr kept the pregnancy a secret from her mother and step-father. Hell, not even her brother had knowledge of her time of turmoil, but that was the way she needed things to stay. You would think that having no one to talk to about this would make the situation a million times worse, but to be quite frank, it was less stressful for Zephy this way. She didn't have to worry about the ones who would've known to keep it a secret, and that's why it made things better.
On a day where morning sickness kicked into gear, Ivonne's attention was directed to her daughter (for once). The conversation was blunt and to the point, and because she'd been informed by Edward that Zephy claimed to have "the flu" more than once, her mother suspected the girl to slowly be developing anorexic habits. If it weren't for Zephyr's disgust when it came to perfectionists & people who hate their own flaws, she probably would've went along with the assumption to buy herself some more time. However, that isn't the case here, and she spat out the truth after being provoked by Ivonne's incorrect theories.
And here's your proof readers; the evidence on how much Ivonne lacked in the parenting world. The news was taken with a simple sigh of agitation and a nonchalant shrug on her mother's side, and her brother's reaction was somewhere along the lines of "sucks for you". I mean, what the hell? Who in god's name takes something that major so casually? Even Edward didn't fly off the handle like Zephy predicted prior to everyone knowing the truth. The three just sort of went on with their lives & gave her exactly what she wanted from the beginning; her independence to do this completely on her own.
I guess you should be careful what you wish for, eh?
Thank the lord for it finally happening. Zephyr, a pregnant fifteen year old at the time, was starting to taste the fear of her life demolishing right before her very eyes. How was she going to escape from all of this? How was she going to even get through it all? Did she even want to go through all of this? Was it wrong to cut Damien loose?
Zephyr was one hundred percent sure that she was only getting what she deserved. I mean, she was always off attending concerts with older friends, consuming alcohol, & experimenting with drugs here and there. It would've been a miracle if she'd dodged pregnancy, to be honest with you. But with all of that aside, she couldn't ignore the signs of her own destruction dancing a few years away and although she hated the idea of seeking out for some sort of help...
Zephy knew Edward and Ivonne were handling the situation all wrong. In a way, she sort of craved for the disappointment and lecturing, because it would've showed that they did care how she'd eventually end up down the road. She was expecting to rely on this to mature and change some of her ways, but when it physically wasn't there, there was nothing to fuel her determination. And just like it was from the beginning, there was nothing there. Absolutely nothing in their eyes.
A phone call to her father was the last chance at hope for the girl. Things were arranged and soon, Zephyr was on a plane to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Her wildfire personality was the most irritating thing to try and tame, however with her father's great patience and peaceful ways of life, his daughter was capable of opening her eyes and adapting a less crazy lifestyle for the sake of her children's future. Due to going through nine months of pregnancy and having to deal with the need of the baby afterwards, Evelyn (Zephy's Great Aunt) offered to home school the girl for more simple managing when it came to education.
On June 4th, 2008, Zephy gave birth to a boy and a girl in the same hospital she'd been born at previous to the occasion. Due to her feminist outlooks and how she strongly believes in sexual equality, Zephyr decided on unisex names for her newborn fraternal twins. Kasey Violetta Donovan & Kadence Vittorio Donovan became their names and the once overbearing & chaotic sixteen year old became a proud mother of two.
As for the ending of this really long past goes, I'm going to keep things straight to the point. Her want to raise the twins obviously took away from the time she was supposed to sit down and work for her GED, and since she insisted on supporting them on her own, Zephyr pretty much ditched the second semester of her senior year. Thanks to her heavy interest in the tattooing world, she achieved her license to legally tattoo clients about six months ago. Why would you need a high school education...if you already had a career ready for you to take? All Zephyr needed was enough money to purchase a place to actually make the parlor; which honestly, would've taken years to afford.
After hearing that their granddaughter (in their eyes) wished to become a GED holding low-life tattoo artist with two kids, Richard and Diana hastily stepped up in attempt to change the woman's mind. There was no use budging her decision about being a tattooist, no, but there was something else that convinced Zephyr to agree on a deal.
"Come back to New York, Zephyr. Come to Lockport, to be more specific. I know a GED is supposedly the same thing as an actual high school diploma, but it's not the same in my eyes. Though, I'll tell you what...if you do choose to come back, and if you can finish up the remainder of your senior year, I'll support the god awful body art you're so passionate about. And if you can get your diploma and prove to me you can pass with honors, I'll help you out by purchasing whatever you need for that parlor you want. Just prove you can make it through the rest of your high school year, get that diploma, and the parlor's yours." - Richard Montgomery.
And so, that's exactly what Zephyr did. She packed up, flew back to Lockport, and prepared to finish up everything she that stood in her way of that diploma. She's living in a simple home off campus with Kasey & Kadence and she's enrolled herself into Ravencorre for the classes she needs to complete to graduate. Maybe, things will start to finally look up, hm?
